The experience of a place

A series of paintings I created during my student exchange in Istanbul. The toned down color palette and vibrating matter of the paintings are my response to the surfeit of stimuli and information that I experienced in Turkey, an attempt to organize and organize the excess of experiences that comes with a living in a huge metropolis.
